Ranch Manager
Longmeadow Rescue Ranch
The Ranch Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Longmeadow Rescue Ranch including the care of animals, the maintenance of a safe and clean environment, and the supervision of ranch employees. This position assists the Director in planning, organizing, and implementing programs, operations schedules, hiring, staff development and training. Responsible also for maintaining accurate reports and records and assisting in developing and implementing policies and procedures. May operate equipment, order supplies and assist customers and visitors of the ranch. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university, and 3 to 5 years' related experience, training, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Veterinary Technician, Licensed
Macklind, Maryland Heights and Chesterfield Valley
The Humane Society of Missouri is currently seeking a licensed Veterinary Technician to work at our AAHA certified Veterinary Medical Centers. This position maintains animal health programs including treatment of sick and injured animals as directed by our veterinarians. This position requires a veterinary technician graduate with a current state license. Applicants must possess organizational skills, ave effective communication skills and be computer literate.
Adoption Counselor
Macklind, Maryland Heights and Chesterfield Valley
We are seeking motivated individuals with excellent customer service skills to work as full time Adoption Counselors at our locations. This position helps match homeless animals with the proper forever homes. Candidates must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to work well in challenging and emotional situations. Work related animal care experience preferred.
Assistant Animal Health Technician
Macklind, Maryland Heights
These individuals provide animals in the Adoption Center with proper care and attention including feeding, sanitation, and medical procedures. Qualified candidates will have excellent oral and written communication skills. Animal care experience preferred.
