Adoption Fees for St. Louis City Center

 

Dogs six months of age and older are $110,
which includes:

  • First DHPP vaccination (Distemper/Hepatitis/ Parainfluenza/Parvovirus). Booster shots are required and are adopter's financial responsibility.
  • Rabies registration
  • First Bordetella vaccination
  • First deworming (Follow-up fecal exam recommended)
  • Heartworm test (for dogs older than six months of age)
  • Initial flea treatment
  • Spay or neuter surgery
  • Avid microchip with national registration
  • Ear cleaning and nail trim
  • Temporary collar, tag and leash
  • Paw Partner membership
  • Shelter, food and loving care from the Humane Society of Missouri

The total cost of these medicines and procedures is more than $200, but your adoption fee is only $110.

 

Desirable breeds* and puppies younger than six months are $210, which includes:

Cats six months and older are $95, with claws. Declawed cats six months and older are $135.
Both include:
  • First FVRCP vaccination (Feline viral Rhinotracheitis/Calici/Panleukopenia). Booster shots are required and are adopter's financial responsibility.
  • Rabies registration
  • Feline Leukemia/FIV test
  • First deworming (Follow-up fecal exam recommended)
  • Initial flea treatment
  • Ear cleaning and nail trim
  • Spay or neuter surgery
  • Temporary collar, tag and cardboard carrier
  • Avid microchip with national registration
  • Paw Partner membership
  • Shelter, food and loving care from the Humane Society of Missouri

which includes:
